Software Requirements

Patch Connect Plus can be installed on the machine with the following software requirement:

• It can be installed on the machine where WSUS server is installed or the machine should contain WSUS admin console which is compatible with the primary WSUS server version and Operating System.
• Supported versions: SCCM 2012, SCCM 2012 R2, SCCM 2016, SCCM 1702, and all later versions of SCCM.

User role pre-requisites

Note: If Patch Connect Plus is installed on a remote WSUS machine, the WSUS user should have Read/Write permission for the following folders:
- <PCP Installed Directory>\Manageengine\
- \\<PrimaryWSUSServer>\c$\Windows\temp\

The below pre-requisites defines the user roles required to use PCP:

• WSUS : The account user should be a member of WSUS Administrators group of both WSUS console and Server machines.
• SCCM : The account user should be a member of SMS Admins group.
• SCCM SQL DB : The account user should have SELECT permissions of SCCM database.
